David Hartley is an entrepreneur based in central Indiana where he lives with his wife of 28 years, Gina and their 3 wonderful children. The formation of Target Medical Sales in 1999 set the stage for David’s entrepreneurial career. Target Medical Sales represented 14 different medical equipment manufacturers throughout 6 states. He saw the need within the complex rehab industry for a provider that focused on the patient experience. In 2004, he ventured into the provider side of the medical business by purchasing Home Health Depot, based in Indianapolis. After experiencing rapid growth for 6 years, Nate Feltman joined the company as co-owner along with 2 private investors. The additional capital and management power fueled growth through both organic and acquisition expansions, allowing the company to deliver 0utstanding patient care while also focusing on a corporate culture of excellence.
Along the way, David and Nate purchased advanced Rehab Technologies based in Iowa and Genesis Healthcare Solutions based in Georgia. In each scenario, the founding owners remained as partners where Home Health Depot corporate management assisted in centralizing backend functions and administrative tasks, allowing the business units to focus on what mattered the most; patient care and growth. In 2017, the decision was made to sell Home Health Depot. Not only was it a successful exit for the shareholders but also a smooth transition for the employees, customers and partners. After an exhaustive search for the ‘right’ next opportunity, he found Save-On Liquors based in Marion Indiana. David, along with investors Nate Feltman and Kyle Hupfer, formed Indiana Liquor Group LLC to purchase the assets and real estate holdings of Save-On Liquor which closed on December 3, 2018.
Kyle Hupfer is the Chief Administrative Officer & General Counsel of Indiana Mills & Manufacturing. Additionally, he is the State Chairman of the Indiana Republican Party, treasurer of Eric Holcomb for Indiana and was co-chair of the Holcomb-Crouch Transition Team. Hupfer has previously served as 5th District Republican chairman, the Director of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources for Governor Mitch Daniels, chairman of the Indiana State Fair Commission, and a partner at Frost Brown Todd LLC and Ice Miller. He graduated from Manchester University, where he served as team captain of the school’s NCAA Division III Runner-Up basketball team and he obtained his law degree at IU Law School-Indianapolis.
